Part Red Headed Stranger, part Scottish Highlands. Our take on a Wee Heavy keeps it simple, with a straightforward grist of Simpsons Finest Golden Promise and just a touch of Simpsons Black Malt. The real work happens in the kettle, where we let the boil roll for a full three hours to push that deep Maillard character. The beer comes out a beautiful glowing amber, rich with notes of toffee, toasted bread crust and dark caramel. All leading into a warming and smooth finish.
