The Edge of Time is a single oak aged barleywine conditioned for 14 months in Blanton’s Bourbon barrels. It is reminiscent of fine dry sherry, achieving a layered character of creme brûlée, bourbon drenched toasted almonds, hard crack toffee and a dried apricot and fig fruitiness. We recommend allowing your pour to warm to close to room temperature and allowing the carbonation to diminish so that all of the rich flavors may speak without restriction.
