Abel Tasman National Park is located at the northernmost section of the southern island of New Zealand. During a not-so-long-ago trip to NZ, we were captivated by the park’s awe-inspiring beauty. While there, we spent crucial time selecting the best hops NZ has to offer. This 100% NZ hopped pilsner is the result of that time and inspiration. Crisp and clear with pleasing aromatics from Wai-iti, Nelson, Riwaka, NZ Cascade, Motueka.

"10 Forty" collab w/ Urban Roots - German Style Pilsner

If you’ve been paying attention to the NorCal lager game then you know that Urban Roots makes one of the most perfect little Czech Lagers called 10 Degrees. It was to our delight when UR agreed to collaborate with us and make a 10 Degrees copy but through a German lens. The recipe is quite similar to 10 Degrees but with the subtle difference of employing German Tettnang and Mittelfruh hops. Otherwise, any other differences will be from the unique influences our breweries and brewers impart. Prost!

"Dank and Infused" West Coast Pilsner

Dank and Infused, a pretty proper name for this easy drinking and crisp hoppy lager. We saturated the kettle during the brew with Citra 702, a concentrated oil extracted from Citra hops by Yakima Chief in Washington. We then dry hopped Dank and Infused with more Citra, Strata and Peacharine – a new hop out of Freestyle Hops in New Zealand. We get notes of tangy tangelo, thai lime leaf and Mendocino outdoor buds.

Hopped with generous additions of Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic & Citra this is one of our juiciest pale ales. It strikes the perfect balance between medium intensity hoppiness and very high drinkability. Notes of pineapple, kiwi, gooseberry, diesel, citrus and tropical fruits. Hold Me Closer Tiny Dankster!

Mo’ Simcoe West Coast IPA 4pk

Another pairing with our cherished Mosaic hop. The Simcoe we selected in 2021 has cool melon and lemon character with hints of Gatorade Riptide Rush. Combine that with Mosaic’s melon and guava character and you get a deep and complex hop character. Mo’ Simcoe is tropical, dry and resinous but also has a hop sweetness that rounds it all out. West Coast for life.

"Dank Side of the Moon" West Coast DIPA 4pk

Dank Side of the Moon was originally a West Coast Double IPA that we brewed years ago. We have now reimagined it with plenty of haze and juiciness for our Week of Dankness. From deep within our hop stash we pulled out two of the dankest hops known to us: Nectaron and Columbus which are both loaded with pine sap like flavors. On top of those we layered our most ganja- like Nelson and some incredible Citra for a long smooth toke of guava and tangerine essence.

A lightly smoked coffee porter made with a touch of German beechwood smoked malt as well as high quality English malts to create a chocolaty, roasty, base beer. Then, add two pounds of Sightglass Colombian Finca la Granada (a washed, pink bourbon variety) coffee per barrel for an intense but refined coffee character.
