Absolutely Fantastic – Collab w/ Kern River

Kern River Brewing helped blow the doors off what West Coast IPA could be back in the late 2000s. Beers like Just Outstanding showcased hops like Simcoe and Amarillo, which may sound mundane today but were truly unique and new in that timeline. Then came their DIPA simply named Citra Double IPA, one of the first to showcase (the then brand new!) Citra hop in all its tropical-lime-mango glory. Complete game-changer. We wouldn’t be brewing the way we do without their influence. Absolutely Fantastic is a loud, juicy high-five to KRBC for showing us how expressive and full-on hops could/can be. We loaded this one up with Citra, Amarillo, Simcoe, and a hit of Cascade—bringing together classic and new-school characters in a way that just feels… Absolutely Fantastic.
