BA Barley/Munichwine – 16.0% ABV
Two oak aged Munichwines & a Double Oak aged Munichwine were blended with 3 barrels of a Barleywine brewed with a high % of rye % aged in various rye whiskey barrels. Aromas of molasses & Jamaican dark rum, 10 yr tawny port & sticky apricot with a dusting of clove are followed by flavors of honey processed coffee, dried cherry, rye loaf crust, date & date with a barrel char & tobacco finish.
Bourbon Blammo! – 3 bottles
BA Imp. Stout with Coconut – 13.1% ABV
For the 2023 release we blended five oak barrels: one stout aged for 26 months in a Heaven Hill Bourbon barrel; the second stout rested in a Blanton’s Bourbon barrel for 36 months; the third and fourth barrels were also Heaven Hill but this stout aged for 20 months. Finally about 10% barleywine was blended in after aging in a Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrel for 21 months. We then conditioned the blend on 35 lbs of organic toasted coconut per barrel. As always, it is ridiculous!
