Spritzy: Sauv Blanc

Hard Seltzer 5.7% ABV
Spritzy: Sauvignon Blanc is our hard seltzer base conditioned on sauvignon blanc grapes from Sonoma’s Rochioli Vineyards. Elegant aromas of melon, tropical white wine, and floral honey are followed by a light sweetness that transitions quickly into juicy undertones of peach and plum, all balanced by a depth of tannins. This isn’t a smoothie or a can of fruit purée. Quite the contrary – it is an unassuming refreshment for discerning epicures.

Horchata Split

Horchata Split is a perfect combination of refreshing poolside seltzer and comforting treat with tasty flavors of banana, cinnamon and vanilla. A touch of sweetness connects all the dots making Horchata Split a spritzing beverage for any time or occasion. Dairy and Gluten free! Contains banana

Moon Sisters

BA Sour with Fruit 6.3% ABV
Moon Sisters is a barrel-aged Blackberry sour ale. This blend of mixed culture ales was combined in oak on top of California grown blackberries and then further fermented and aged for 6 months. Moon Sisters has an enticing deep pink hue with aromas that are floral and softly fruity with hints of hibiscus and pear. The flavor is like Grenache rosé with hints of plum, blackberry and green strawberry with a silky body that lingers on the palate with restrained acidity keeping it light and fresh.

Farmer Direct: Peach Pluot

BA Sour with Fruit 6.2% ABV
We worked with Frog hollow farms to bring you Farmer Direct: O’Henry Peach and Dapple Dandy Pluot, a barrel-aged sour ale refermented on said fruit. Frog Hollow continuously grows some of the best stonefruit around so we weren’t surprised to find that 2019’s peaches and pluots were as juicy and bright flavored as ever. FD: Peach/Pluot has incredibly clear aromas of peach and candied nectarine. The flavor starts with a mild acidity that transitions to sugar poached peaches and saliva inducing fruit skin. This is a sexy beer that delivers from top to bottom and should be in any fruited sour lover’s cellar.

Bubble Chamber

Pilsner 5.5% ABV
We are so stoked to brew up batch 2 of Bubble Chamber, a dry-hopped German-style pilsner. This is the light beer craft drinkers want to crush. Pleasantly soft citrus and floral orange blossom aromas arise from German Hallertau Mittelfrüh and the dry hop of whole leaf German Hersbrucker hops sourced by @hopheadfarms. The flavor is fresh, clean and vibrant with hints of oolong tea, lilac pollen, honey dipped rye bread and dried lemon peel. Zesty carbonation and a smooth as silk finish from 3 weeks of cold conditioning continues to keep the beer crisp as it disappears from your glass.

Pale Ale 5.7% ABV
Do you love the tantalizing aroma of passion fruit and guava? Much of their aroma comes from aromatic molecules called “thiols.” Phantasm is a new product out of New Zealand that is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, a grape varietal that contains a high level of “thiol precursors.” During fermentation the expressive yeast in this brew can convert the precursors into those tropical thiols. Add to that aggressive hopping from Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic Cryo and you have a true cornucopia of fruit character

Pale Ale 5.7% ABV
Dobis is our 100% Citra hopped pale ale that starts with lots of Scottish Golden Promise malt to create a graham cracker base. Then Citra brings forth lots of pineapple, mandarin, citrus, and mango. We love Citra, it is super juicy and flavorful. This is the first beer in a long line of brews that we make hopped only with it. Cheers to the OG Dobis!

Moonage Daydream

Pale Ale 5.7% ABV
We love Australian Galaxy hops & have been really happy with their quality lately. That’s why we decided to brew our original 100% Galaxy beer, Moonage Daydream. This pale ale is super crushable with a light, crackery malt character & pungent mango and pine aromas from the hops. This one will make you freak out! Drink more pale ale!

Mt. Nelson

Pale Ale 5.7% ABV
Hopped with 100% Nelson Sauvin hops. As you contemplate the path to the top of Mt. Nelson think about the 2.5 lbs. per barrel of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops in this precarious pale ale. Ruminate on the diesely, tropical fruit and melon aromas. May we suggest a word of advice: it's not the summit of Mt. Nelson you need to worry about, rather, the way down to the bottom.

IPA 7.3% ABV
Our badass brewing friends down at Highland Park Brewery in L.A. chose this rad IPA for us to brew when we recently lost a bet to them when the SF Giants lost to the Dodgers. Neon is a crisp, bitter and hop forward IPA that uses one of the great modern hop trios of Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic. We get a potent hit of juicy tropical fruit and POG smoothie all balanced by dank and resinous ganja-like terps. Gotta say, this aint such a bad outcome for losing a bet!

Strata Galaxy

IPA 6.8% ABV
Two of the hardest hitting hops bring the FIRE in this incredibly fruity IPA. Strata, a limey citrus and tangy weed like hop teams up perfectly with Galaxy, easily the most vibrant of hops, which seems soaked in pineapple/orange/guava juice. We kept this beer hazy and soft for the most juicy experience we can give you.

Mo’ Chinook

IPA 6.8% ABV
Does Chinook make you nervous? It should! In a hop world of navel gazing tropical fruit and candy-like insouciance, Chinook aligns defiantly with marijuana piney dank counterculture. Mo’ stands for Mosaic, sorta Gen X in all of this — having one foot in the mercurial progressive camp and one in the grave along with Chinook and its sap soaked buddies. Needless to say when Chinook and Mosaic combine you find an IPA that you and your parents can finally agree on.

Hazy West Coast IPA 7% ABV
If you believe in fairies, great adventures & never growing up, this beer is for you. Bangerang is full of tropical bright flavors that will have your taste buds thinking happy thoughts & ready to fly. You can taste all the Neverland zests & tangs like watermelon, tangerine,, berry, lime & spice. Motueka, Citra, Nelson, Strata + Rufio! Rufio! Ru-Fi-OOOOOOOOOOOOOh!

Terpene Station

Double IPA 8.7% ABV
What are terpenes? They are aromatic compounds found in hops and the cousin to the hop, marijuana. This beer is so pungent we just had to give it a heady name. Electric aromas from Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, Centennial and Nelson meet sticky, mouth-coating pine and hop oil flavors enhanced by West Coast clarity and bitterness. It’s what Jerry drinks.

Get Off My Lawn

Double IPA 8.2% ABV
When we first brewed this Hazy Double IPA years ago we had a lot of explaining to do. A lot of people were put off by the deep haze of this beer, the soft and chewy body and the wild tropical fruit aromas from modern hops and expressive yeast. The original description even had a tongue-in-cheek declaration that we are “just kids doing kid stuff!” We didn’t let the detractors get us down, some are even friends! So apologies to the last few of you out there who still aren’t on board… We make West Coast IPA too! Hops: Strata, Ekuanot, Citra, Simcoe and Galaxy!

Best Fiends

Strong Porter 8.2% ABV
This is a big chewy Porter that focuses on quality malts. This luscious brew has the nose and flavor intensity of an imperial stout but comes in at a reasonable ABV. Best Fiends contains no adjuncts yet is packed with aromas of freshly baked chocolate croissant, graham cracker, cigar tobacco, high percentage cacao, and malted milk ball.

Vital Signs

Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout 14.8% ABV
A blend of BA Double Barrel Barleywine and Stout as well BA Black Barleywines. Despite the heavy barleywine influence, the threads of stout take to the forefront of Vital Signs. Aromas of dark cacao, espresso and torched sugar are laced with rich vanilla, toffee, marshmallow and a goji berry sweetness. The wheated bourbon is warming, inviting and balancing.  

2020 Bourbon Blammo!

BA imp Stout 15.7% ABV
Vintage keg! 13 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels has done this Imperial Stout well. After picking up vanilla and toffee notes from the barrel, we conditioned Blammo! on 21 lbs per barrel of organic coconut for over the top aromas of toasted marshmallow, Mounds bar and Kahlua mudslides. This beer tells a story so let it warm up and get ready to listen.

Prices do not include Sales Tax. A 3% charge is being applied to each check for San Francisco city mandates

Cellarmaker Brewing Company

We are a San Francisco brewery producing small batches of experimental beers. It is our goal to keep your taste buds intrigued by constantly producing different flavors. To us, making the same 3-4 beers all the time would be boring in many ways. We hope you feel the same way and will make it out to our tasting room to sample our brews.  You just might find some of our beer out in the wild too (we’re on tap in about 25 Bay Area accounts, it is our intention to keep distribution local for many reasons).  Our limited output and choice to abandon the common concept of a set production schedule (and flagship beers) will allow us to constantly experiment with different hops, grains, barrels, and yeasts.

Since hoppy beers are the go-to for most people (us included), we generally have 3-5 hop-driven beers on tap in the tasting room most of the time.  We strive to make juicy + aromatic hoppy beers, not bitter.  Aside from the hoppy beers, we try to have a well balanced taplist; a little bit of something for everyone.  Expect to see a few dark and roasty options, something bright and effervescent, something Belgian inspired and something on the lighter side. The taplist on this page is up to date 99% of the time.
