Jezebel Bottle Release
First Bottle Release Tomorrow (July 22nd) – “Jezebel” is a Brett Drei Saison we made way back in October. It was bottled in early December and has been conditioning ever since. It is now ready for consumption or further aging. 2 bottles per person.$15/bottle.
About the beer: “Jezebel” has a yeast blend of Saison Dupont and Brett Drei as well as some Rye for subtle spice. While many breweries use blends of different Brett strains our persistent desire for the unknown came into play and we chose to use a single strain. We had experienced plenty of beers with Brett Brux and Brett Lambicus and while those flavors are awesome, we wanted to try out something different. Brett Drei has a different kind of funk from the typical “barnyard” flavors associated with other brett strains. It develops slowly but over time brings out big tropical notes. This one develops into a lightly acidic pineapple-like flavor over time. We are huge fans of this unique wild yeast character and hope you guys will enjoy it as well.
Tomorrow’s taplist has some really cool stuff available for your enjoyment in addition to the other beers already on tap:
– “Jezebel” draft
– “Saison Francisco” draft
– Batch 1 “Vastness of Space” Imperial Stout draft
– 5 gallon Cask of “Highway to the Danker Zone” conditioned on New Zealand Riwaka hops.
Come celebrate our first bottle release with us tomorrow. Doors open at 3pm. Cheers from the Cellarmaker crew!
